I need some opinions peeps. I want to get a messenger bag but I can't decide what color. I had narrowed it down to the deep blue/yellow one but then they came out with other colors. So which one?
PS They don't seem to fit in the frame. They did when I looked at the preview. I'm too tired to mess around with it but you guys get the picture (HARHARHAR!)

Modcloth hates me. First, they sell out of every dress I want. And now that it is too late, they are cranking out super cute dresses like these:

I think I would live in cute sundresses if the world would allow me.

I want to get a dress to wear for my birthday. The only problem is every dress I like is out of stock. I find one I like and then poof! it's gone. I should probably just wear the one I bought for last year and never wore. That would be the responsible thing to do. But I can't help myself, I really want a new one.

My mom asked for a Christmas list. I gave her the Christmas in a very timely manner. But recently, she keeps telling me it is lacking a big, EXCITING! item. My brothers' lists were the same so she just made up things for them. I don't really want her to do that for me. So now I'm racking my brain for something to tell her but I'm not sure what to tell her.
A KitchenAid Mixer?
A dSLR?

Any ideas???

So I haven't blogged in a week. Whoops. I meant to but I was feeling a bit emotional and in a very sharing mood. But it wasn't good stuff and not really anything I wanted to have out there on the web for everyone to read. However, that has passed and I'm feeling much more like myself now :)

I bought some new sheets after months of searching. I simply wanted some fun sheets that weren't pink or a blah muted shade of sage. It was really hard to find what I wanted. I finally found some at Target. Purple polka dots and aqua paisley. I'm really excited for them.

I went to buy some hot dogs to grill while BART and I watched the Tigers play this evening. Except when I got to the grocery store, the hot dog section was empty and a man was scrubbing the shelf. Hot dogs were no where to be seen. The only ones I could find were Kosher and I just didn't think those would cut it. So I got chips and dip instead because they seemed like a baseball food.

Hi world!

I do not like the ad at the top of my blog. I'm sure its encoded in the html and I'm sure if I spent enough time messing around with it, I could delete it. But I haven't really had time or energy lately to do that. I just wanted you guys to know that I don't like nor do I want it there.

My Anthropologie dress finally made it to my house. It only took an additional week because someone confused a 2 for a 1 when looking at the zip code. But ya know, I didn't have to make one phone call to get the whole situation corrected so I'm not going to complain. The dress was sorta heavy when I pulled it out of the box but once I put it on, it was pretty comfy. Now I just need to find a bra to wear with it because it was obviously designed by a man who did not think about this problem.

BART bought us a new shower curtain. Its super cute with a bunch of vertical stripes. I searched all over the Target website to find it but I can't. I would take a picture but that seems like a lot of work at the moment so maybe next time?

Another girl I knew from high school had a baby yesterday. I guess we are just in the age group where more and more people will be having babies or getting married. I don't know but to me, it seems like we just graduated from high school. It really does.

I want some new rain boots. The ones I have now aren't super waterproof anymore. But I still like them a lot. Do I get the same pair again?
Or do I get these ones?
They also come in black too.

Thoughts?

Long time no post. I haven't felt like blogging much in the past week. I must say though life has been extremely fun lately. I really like it.

We had a holiday party on Saturday. It was awesome. We had a decorate your own cookie station, sweet! And then today I made a pot roast and we exchanged roommate gifts. It was weird doing it before Christmas, kinda threw me off. I got a awesome Peruvian knit cap with hearts on it, some really cute notecards (BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THEM), and a t-shirt that says "I <3 PGH" (soo true) in black and gold.

I just want to note that I won Trivial Pursuit tonight. It was the 1990's edition which I've never played before and I thought it would be impossible like the 20th century edition. But no! it was a lot of fun.

I drive back to MI on Tuesday. I really don't want to. I'd rather fly. The thought of 6 hours in a car by myself just seems so boring and tedious especially the parts through Ohio. So if anyone would like to accompany me on my drive, let me know. I'm excited to see all my friends and hang and chill and watch Love Actually so we can do the dance. We haven't done the dance in a very long time.

I finally started my Christmas shopping and I think its going to be alright. I ordered my brother this t-shirt. I rather like it.

Ok, thats all for now. See you all very soon

I need some help. I was just informed by my mothers that my brothers have bought me a total of 4 presents for Christmas and have plans for more. And these presents are substantial, nice presents not like those gummy worms in a Grinch cup I gave Bubba one year. As of today I have 0 presents for the two. Sure I bookmarked a t-shirt for Bubba like 2 months ago but I haven't bought it yet because I'm waiting for it to go on clearance, yeah I'm that cheap. (UPDATE: The shirt is now $9.99. It is also sold out.)

Anyway, I need some ideas for them. They love video games. It doesn't matter how many they have they love getting them. The only problem is I hate giving them as gifts. I feel like its a cop out and I put absolutely no thought into it. So while they can always be my backup I want to get my brothers something else this year. I want to get them something cool like a pint of specially designed ice cream. Or a mini doughnut maker. So do you guys have ideas? What was your best Christmas present ever? Or you could just comment with something you want this Christmas because well I haven't Christmas shopped for anyone yet.

I've had the shopping bug lately. But absolutely no money to spend. That hasn't stopped me from getting some new stuff though. I used a giftcard that I got from Pomme (THANKS!) for my birthday to get a can opener! I know, isn't very grown up? But it leaves no sharp edges and its red! and I'll always need a can opener.

Then, I used a gift certificate to get a bra from Victoria's Secret. It wasn't the one I originally was going to get but with this tagline: Young. Sexy. Italian. How could I resist?
Finally, I got this dress from Gap:
for only $4.97!!! Score! I love bargains. I think my shopping bug has gone away for the time being. But I did just get some coupons for Pottery Barn and they had some really cute napkins I think I NEED for Thanksgiving so we'll see.

Last night, BART and I went shopping. I was looking a present for a certain someone but I'm still searching for something perfect. But I did wander in to Urban Outfitters for the very first time ever. I never knew what I was missing and I think I wanted everything in that store.

Somehow the night morphed into roommate date night. We met up with Buddy to see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. uh, It was AWESOME. The movie was just so cute and funny. But now I want the soundtrack. However, I can't seem to find it anywhere online. I guess I could always buy it.

I think I might be going to another concert this friday. Bon Journey is in town and I think they sound amazing. Really how could this turn out to be bad thing?

I bought a hat today. It was an impulse buy. I liked it in the store. But now that I've got it home I'm not so sure. So I'm wearing it all today with the tags still on trying to decide whether or not I should take it back.

I was looking at the sale section at anthropologie.com and while everything was still too expensive for me (I mean seriously $139.95 for this on clearance?!?), I found some pants.

I would show a picture of them. Except wait a mere 2 hours after I found gray dress pants available only in my size reduced to $9.99 from $125, they are gone! GONE! gone!

I was weighing the pros and cons of the pants.
Cons: were wide leg pants, already own a pair of gray pants with slight wide legs, seemed to draw attention to hips
Pros: a pair of anthropologie pants for $9.99!!!!, i could always use more pants- they are kind of mandatory for being in public

I was torn and I didn't know what to do before I was like "Aha!!! I will blog about it and my friends will tell me what to do." So I start writing this post, go in search of the pants, and can no longer find them.

This teaches me to buy first, think later. I mean thats the only lesson that can come from this, right?

So this entry is a little unfocused.

I had to go make an edible picture for my mom because she was making a retirement cake for someone. It was supposed to be simple. I take in the image to the cake store and they scan, copy, and print on edible paper. It ended up taking 40 minutes! So there I was surrounded by cakes, cookies, and candy for almost an hour and no samples to try. It was difficult.

I went to visit Toi (formely known as Bestie) tonight. We ate some Chinese and shopped. I got a t-shirt from J.Crew and some nifty lip gloss from Bath & Body Works. I fell in love with the mini scone pan at Williams-Sonoma. If I had it, I could make scones everyday. And I know that I would make them everyday. Really I would. You all could have some.

On my way to meet her, I realized I came home from France a year ago today. That just seems crazy. It does not feel like a year has gone by.

Did anyone else stay up ridiculously late last night to watch the Wings only to have them lose in the 3rd overtime?

I have to go to the dentist tomorrow. They kind of ambushed me and forced me to make an appointment. I have to admit I haven't been in a while with the combination of not living in the country, working with dental people in the summer who would clean my teeth for free, and the fact that the hygienist would make me cry when she cleaned my teeth. But I've heard they got a new one who is gentler. Downside, she is the mom of a high school classmate. Last time, my brother went in, she made him talk on her cell phone with her daughter. I hope nothing like that happens tomorrow because 8:30 is just too early in the morning for that.

Oh, just to let you all know, Bath & Body Works is coming out with a new scent on July 7th. It is entitled Rain Kissed Leaves. And it has a motto something like: lustrous. youthful. poetic.

Ya, its special.

I have a dilemma. I need a new digital camera as mine has died a painful death. I was just going to "borrow" my brother's but his is now doing funky things. I need to decide whether I should get a basic model or spring for a slightly more advanced one. I don't really use the camera on a daily basis but when I do have a need for it I want nice pictures. So I'm asking what kind of camera do you have? do you like it? is it evil? what do you recommend?

I started looking at different stores to see what they have and all the cheap ones are baby pink which I don't really understand. Is it to attract teenage girls? Is that just cheaper than silver? It confused me.

Oh and I dropped my computer today. I feel horrible, like a bad mother.
